These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, services, and interactions with Kintsugi Beauty. By booking an appointment or purchasing a service or voucher, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Bookings & Deposits

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to secure the booking.

Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Deposits are deducted from the total cost of the treatment on the day of the appointment.
Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a no-show, and the deposit will be forfeited.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show. Where possible, we may offer to reschedule; this is subject to availability and treatment length.
Treatment Results & Refunds

No refunds are offered once a treatment has been completed.

Individual results vary based on skin type, hair type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Kintsugi Beauty does not guarantee specific outcomes or longevity of treatments.
Corrections & Adjustments

Complimentary corrections or adjustments are offered within 7 days of the original appointment.

Clients must contact Kintsugi Beauty directly to arrange a correction appointment.

If a client is unable to attend within this timeframe, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate both parties, subject to availability.

Corrections do not apply where aftercare advice has not been followed.
Client Responsibilities & Consultation

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, and contraindications.

Kintsugi Beauty is not liable for adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.

Certain treatments may require a patch test. Failure to complete a required patch test may result in appointment cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.
Illness & Emergencies

In cases of illness or emergency, Kintsugi Beauty will endeavour to accommodate rescheduling where possible.

Deposits remain non-refundable under all circumstances.
Photography & Content Use

Photographs may be taken for reference, training, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Clients must notify us during their appointment if they do not consent to images being used publicly.

Where consent is withdrawn, images will be retained for internal reference only.
Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase via Booksy or online.

All gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.

Vouchers may be subject to expiry terms as stated at the time of purchase.
Right to Refuse Service

Kintsugi Beauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or where these Terms & Conditions are not respected.

Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Home Studio & Accessibility

Kintsugi Beauty operates from a private home studio in Belfast.

Clients must notify us in advance of any accessibility requirements so we can advise whether we are able to accommodate.
Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

By booking an appointment, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Amendments

Kintsugi Beauty reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
